- You must be over 18
- You must not be pregnant or breast feeding
- Do not have botox less than 3 weeks prior to treatment
- Do not use products containing vitamin A / Retinol for 1 month prior to treatment
- Do not have a facial or facial peel treatment less than 2 weeks prior to treatment
- Do not wax or tint eyebrows less than 3 days prior to treatment
- Do not tan (sun or sunbed) less than 2 weeks prior to treatment
- You must not have sunburn at the time of treatment
- Do not exercise on the day of treatment
- Do not drink alcohol or products containing caffeine 24-48 hours before treatment
- Do not take aspirin or ibuprofen 24-48 hours (Consult your doctor before discontinuing prescribed medicines)
- For lip treatments it is advised that you use a lip scrub 2 days prior to treatment and keep lips moisturised constantly with a lip balm.
- For lip treatment, if you have ever previously suffered with cold sores, visit your doctor prior to treatment to obtain a prescription for Zovirax or similar and follow your GP’s advice.
- Ensure that you will be able to follow all aftercare instructions
Important: You must have a patch test no less than 48 hours before treatment to check for the likelyhood of allergies. However it should be noted that this does not act as a guarantee and there is still the risk of delayed or unexpected reactions during or after treatment, although this is rare.
