What is a liquid facelift?
A liquid facelift is also known as a 5 point facelift, mini facelift, non surgical facelift or skin booster treatment. It is also sometimes known by the brand names of the products used, for example, Profilo, Infini, Revitrane, Restylane and so on.
It involves placing a new generation, highly effective hyaluronic acid based dermal filler into the skin at the exact point between the dermis and epidermis, where it is needed to nourish the newly forming skin cells. It is placed into the skin using ultra fine needles at specific points, which research has proved are safe to inject into (BAP points.)
Not only does the hyaluronic acid contained in the product act as a highly effective moisturiser to hydrate the skin, but it stimulates the skin cells to increase production of 4 different types of collagen and elastin. This results in a treatment which is not only boosting and hydrating, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue and reduces fine lines.
